Meet Our Staff
In 1986 when Dr. Barbara Rosen opened her private practice, B.R. Audiology & Counseling Center (later Audiology of Nassau County), the philosophy was the same then as it is now…to provide a nurturing environment, compassionate care, and an understanding of the complexities of the auditory mechanism. The goals of Audiology of Nassau County have remained the same, to provide a short term quality experience, and a long term commitment to patients’ needs in the years to come.

Read More About Dr. Rosen
Since 1971 Dr. Rosen has provided Audiology services to adults and children in the Metropolitan NY region. Employed as a staff clinician at Manhattan Eye Ear and Throat Infirmary for seven years, she later served as a consultant to a large Otology practice in Rockville Centre.

Dr. Rosen is Board Certified by the American Academy of Audiology, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, a member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology. She is also a founding member and former president of the HEARING CARE GROUP, an organization of more than thirty professional private practice audiologists in the metropolitan NY region, offering continuing education in all matters of audiology, hearing care, and legislative issues.
